Spares
Whilst we don’t offer any spares if you have recently had to source parts and/or have any information about suppliers or repairers please let us know so and we’ll include the information here. Your help in this is real appreciated as it helps to keep as many Carlight on the road as possible for everyone to enjoy in the future.

Lights
Aten lighting https://www.atenlighting.co.uk/ offer a wide range of 12v LED bulbs (including the old 12v ‘Bus Bulbs’) for both the later Commander models and the earlier Classics. LED’s will dramatically reduce the heat generated in the light fittings and should therefore prolong the life of the fitting itself. This applies as much to the wooden light fittings in the Classic vans and the early Commanders as it does to the ceiling down lighters in the latest models.
The rear tail and stop lights on the 1950s and some 1960s caravans are Lucas L549 and ESM (East Sussex Minors) at https://www.morrisminorspares.com/ have a good selection of these and other Lucas lights, it is worth trying AES https://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/ as well for any Lucas parts. Please note the Lucas L549 tail and stop lamps had the base plate bent outwards slightly at the centre when fitted and you may have to do this with a replacement light when fitting.
